Match with Care helps families find experienced, vetted carers in their area. You can browse profiles online and then speak with one of our care advisors about your needs. We help confirm availability, arrange interviews and support you in choosing the right carer.
No. Browsing carers and speaking with our team is completely free. You only proceed if you decide a carer is the right fit for your needs.
In many cases care can begin within a few days, depending on the type of care required and carer availability. For urgent situations we aim to help families as quickly as possible.
Yes. Families usually meet carers before care begins, either face-to-face or via video call. This allows you to ask questions and ensure the carer is the right match.
Carers
Most carers on the Match with Care network hold an enhanced DBS check. We also review experience and references before introducing carers to families.
Carers typically have experience supporting older adults in the home, including personal care, companionship, dementia support and mobility assistance.
Yes. Families review profiles and decide which carers they would like to meet. Our team can also recommend carers based on your needs.
If the arrangement isn't working, we can help you find a replacement carer from our network.
Costs & Payment
The cost of care depends on the type of support required and the carer's experience. As a guide, hourly care typically ranges from £16–£20 per hour, while live-in care usually ranges between £900–£1,400 per week.
Match with Care charges a registration fee and a service fee to support the introduction, matching process and ongoing platform services.
Carers log their hours through the Match with Care app. Families receive a simple weekly invoice for the care provided.
Rates are agreed between the family and the carer depending on care needs, hours and experience.
Care Arrangements
Carers can support with personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, medication reminders, meal preparation and help around the home.
Yes. Many carers specialise in live-in care, providing full-time support for individuals who prefer to remain in their own home.
Yes. Some families require short-term care after hospital discharge, during recovery or while a regular carer is unavailable.
