What is visiting care

What is visiting care?

Visiting care (sometimes called hourly or domiciliary care) is when a carer visits your loved one at home for scheduled visits - from as little as three hours at a time. During each visit they can help with personal care, meals, medication, light housework and companionship.

It's one of the most flexible types of home care. Visits can be arranged daily, weekly, or at times that suit your routine, and support can easily be increased if needs change.

How we work

  1. 1

Browse carers & speak to us

Explore carers in your area and tell us your needs. We'll confirm availability, answer questions, and help you shortlist.

  2. 2

    Meet and choose your carer

We arrange introductions with your preferred carers so you can find the right fit. Once you've chosen, care can begin.

  3. 3

    Start care, simply managed

We'll provide an agreement and handle the admin. Carers log visits through our app, and you'll receive a weekly invoice.

Carers you can trust

We begin screening every carer before introducing them and continue checks through the onboarding process, so you can move forward with confidence from the first conversation.
