1. About Match with Care
Match with Care ("we", "our", "us") provides software tools designed for home care agencies.
Our platform includes:
- Client and carer relationship management tools
- Verification and document tracking
- Visit logging and reporting
- Automated invoicing and payment processing (via Stripe Connect)
- Access to a shared carer network
We are a software provider only.
- We do not provide regulated care services.
- We do not act as an employment agency.
- We do not employ carers.
- We do not manage or supervise care arrangements.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
3. Eligibility
To use the platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have authority to enter into legally binding agreements
- Provide accurate and complete information
Agencies must ensure they are operating in compliance with all applicable UK laws and regulatory requirements.
4. Nature of the Platform
Match with Care provides software tools to support home agencies.
We are not a party to:
- Any care agreement
- Any employment agreement
- Any service contract between agencies, carers or families
All introductions, agreements, payments, and care arrangements are made independently between users.
Agencies remain solely responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements, including determining whether CQC registration is required.
5. Carer Network & Profile Consent
By creating or maintaining a carer account on the platform, carers acknowledge and agree that:
- Their profile may be displayed within the Match with Care shared carer network.
- Displayed information may include: full name; profile photo; location (postcode area); experience and qualifications; availability preferences; verification status (e.g., DBS, Right to Work, references).
- Their contact details may be shared with home agencies using the platform, and families introduced via agencies using the platform, where relevant to potential placements.
Carers may request removal from the shared network at any time by contacting hello@matchwithcare.com.
Match with Care does not guarantee work or placement opportunities.
6. Agency Responsibilities
Agencies using the platform agree that they:
- Are solely responsible for care introductions and placements
- Conduct their own due diligence on carers
- Ensure compliance with employment, tax, and regulatory obligations
- Manage care agreements independently
- Handle disputes directly with carers or families
Match with Care is not responsible for care quality, suitability, or outcomes.
7. Payments & Stripe Connect
Where agencies use integrated payment processing:
- Payments are processed through Stripe Connect.
- Agencies must comply with Stripe's terms and policies.
- Stripe fees are separate from platform fees.
- Match with Care is not a financial institution.
- We do not assume responsibility for payment disputes between agencies, carers, or families, except where related to technical platform errors.
8. Fees & Subscription
Platform fees are charged in accordance with the pricing displayed at the time of subscription.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Fees are billed monthly.
- Fees are non-refundable once billed.
- We may update pricing with reasonable notice.
- Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of access.
9. Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
- All activity under your account
You must notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
10. Intellectual Property
All platform content, software, design, branding, and technology remain the property of Match with Care.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute platform materials
- Reverse engineer or extract source code
- Resell or sublicense the platform
11. Data & Privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The platform is provided "as is" and "as available."
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.
- Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you:
- Breach these Terms
- Misuse the platform
- Fail to pay fees

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
