This policy applies only to Match with Care's ChatGPT app and its public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. It supplements the Match with Care Privacy Policy, which applies to our website and platform generally.
The app provides general UK home care information for families and carers — formats, typical costs, funding signposts, and questions to ask providers. It does not provide medical advice, match or recommend people, arrange care, browse vacancies, take payment, or require a Match with Care account.
The app is designed to receive only the minimum tool inputs needed for its public, read-only features:

Do not use the app to share a diagnosis, medication, care record, or other health or special-category information. The app does not retrieve or reconstruct your ChatGPT conversation history.
We use the tool inputs only to return the requested public guidance or privacy summary. The MCP server does not create accounts, make introductions, change records, or send messages.
The app returns general guidance with links to trusted sources and matchwithcare.co.uk. It does not return private account data, internal IDs for carers, payment data, care records, or vacancy listings.
Match with Care's MCP hosting provider receives the tool request in order to operate the app. OpenAI processes your ChatGPT conversation and app use under OpenAI's own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell app data or use these tool inputs for advertising, behavioural profiling, or marketing.
The MCP server does not create a user account, database record, or stored session for ChatGPT app requests. We do not retain tool-input content in an application database. Operational and security log metadata, where retained by us, is kept for no longer than 30 days and then deleted or anonymised. Our hosting provider may process standard infrastructure logs under its own documented retention settings.
You can choose not to use the app, avoid entering personal or health information, and disconnect the app in ChatGPT at any time.
