Hanan created safe spaces for women to explore mental health, emotions, and lived experiences, while facilitating weekly peer support groups focused on parenting, women's health, and family wellbeing. She co-produced and co-facilitated psychoeducation workshops on parental and young people's mental health, and co-facilitated trauma-informed workshops in partnership with Grenfell Wellbeing Service using Compassion-Focused models. She also empowered community members and built trusted relationships with local BME communities to reduce stigma and promote social inclusion.
