I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Emelina Taylor for the role of care worker. Emily provided exceptional full time 'live in' care to my father from August 2021 following a hospital stay, until his passing at home in March 2024 at the age of 93. Throughout this time I found Emily to be an experienced, reliable, trustworthy and compassionate carer. She skilfully managed the increasing challenges of my father's care as his health declined, especially during his end of life care. Emily responsibilities included the following, all carried out to a professional standard, with comprehensive record keeping, effective communication, and with a genuinely caring and empathic approach towards my father and our family.

Emelina Taylor was the live-in carer for my father from 9** May 2017, following my father's stroke and developing dementia, until his death at the age of 101 on 13" October 2019. We found her a kind, warm and caring person, who looked after my father with great care, devotion, respect and love, She supported him in retaining as much independence as possible, as his physical. abilities and mental capacity progressively deteriorated. She always respected his wishes, and never treated him like a child. She is an excellent cook and knew how to prepare meals that my father could enjoy, She encouraged him in walking and supported him as his abilities declined, and he began even to lose the ability to eat and drink. Without her support, he could never have remained in the familiar surroundings of his own home but would have had to enter a care home. We have always found Emelina trustworthy, and we will forever remain grateful to her for her loving care of my father. As a GP who has worked professionally with many carers, I can say without hesitation that Emelina was one of the best and i can strongly recommend her.
