Elisabeta was respectful of my aunt's needs and abilities in order to enable her autonomy as appropriate and maintain her dignity, showing appropriate sensitivity to the varied aspects of caring. She is dedicated to her client's individual likes and dislikes, for example regarding food shopping and preparation and feeding preferences. She always appeared happy to support my aunt, I must mention especially in relation to looking after her cats, which made a huge difference to my aunt's mental well-being.
Elisabeta was the primary carer for my aunt over several months while her dementia deteriorated. My aunt had no children of her own, so I and my sister held power of attorney for her, and were therefore responsible for her care plans, finances etc. Elisabeta is respectful of a client's needs and abilities in order to enable their autonomy as appropriate and maintain their dignity where not, showing appropriate sensitivity to the varied aspects of caring. She is dedicated to her client's individual likes and dislikes, for example regarding food shopping and preparation and feeding preferences. She always appeared happy to support my aunt — I must mention especially in relation to looking after her cats, which made a huge difference to my aunt's mental well-being — which I would say is indicative of her kind, compassionate character. Elisabeta shows the ability to act on her own initiative, as she was the first line responder to any issues that arose during my aunt's daily care. She is also a good team player, as could be seen when working with other care staff, for example the night carer and wider care management. Elisabeta is hardworking and dedicated, and I am sure that she will perform her role with dedication, offering respect and dignity to each person in relation to their individual needs. I would have no hesitation in employing Elisabeta if the need arose.
