I can whole-heartedly recommend Vivian who looked after my wheel-chair bound aunt and uncle as a live-in carer over a period of around a year and a half, at which point both were hospitalised and died within a few months of each other. Vivian was reliable, patient, compassionate and thoughtful. She had strong organisational skills but could also adapt quickly to change. She could manage challenging situations calmly and was always cheerful, striving to keep her clients feeling uplifted and cared for. Her day-to-day duties were to work to a schedule of providing meals, tea breaks, putting them to bed at night, getting them washed and dressed in the mornings, taking them to the toilet, making sure they took their pills, shopping for them, answering the phone, liaising with relatives, driving them to hospital appointments, driving them to the hairdressers, dentist, optometrist etc. She managed every aspect of their lives with care and compassion and was reliable and trustworthy throughout. I would employ her again without hesitation.
