Basic Life Support

Maria was a truly fantastic carer with a wonderful, gentle, smiling presence who put everyone at ease. My father adored her and it's because of her that some of his last years were made not only bearable but enjoyable and special. She took care of him with attention to detail but without being overbearing. She was amazing. She was a live-in carer for my dad who had Parkinson's and, later, dementia. She fed, washed and walked him, helped him in the bathroom, looked after his clothes and bedding and provided true friendship. She handled the equipment needed to get him in and out of bed and his chair. She was totally reliable and punctual, and I would strongly recommend her.
