The client is a retired journalist with a strong, independent personality who has been living with Alzheimer's disease for several years. Following a recent fall resulting in a wrist injury, her condition has progressed and she has become increasingly isolated. She lives alone with no family nearby and relies on a small circle of close friends for support. She has historically been resistant to accepting formal care, so building genuine trust and rapport will be essential to success in this role.
